I am a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with 30 years experience.

MBBCh(Wits), FFPsych(SA), FRANZCP

Advanced Certificates in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

I have specialist qualifications from both South Africa and Australia and am registered as a psychiatrist in both Australia and the UK.

I have subspecialist qualifications in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

In my thirty years of psychotherapy practice I have worked with people with a wide range of problems.

I can help you if you:

• are having problems with your close relationships, past and/or present
• would like to understand and work on your relationship with yourself (self confidence, self respect, demands you make of yourself)
• are a parent who is struggling to support and manage their children
• are struggling with anxiety, depression or lack of fulfilment
• are struggling to come to terms with life changes or difficult circumstances

With my experience I am able to help with problems that have been difficult to resolve and/or have been going on for some time.

The work I do

I offer individual psychodynamic psychotherapy.
I provide psychotherapy supervision to other therapists.

Understanding your past experiences and your point of view and being nonjudgemental are fundamental to the way I work.

How is the therapy conducted?

I work exclusively online, via Skype or Zoom.

How long will therapy last?

This work can be short term or long term, depending on the need and your preferences.
